VLC – Best of all

I am a die hard fan of VLC Player not only because its free but it can playback any damn video format you throw at it. Moreover its light in term of resources utilized, and is at your service as soon as you hit the shortcut for it. Unlike its counterpart WindowsMedia Player whcih will take significant time to load itself.

I was working on old version of VLC which I have recently upgraded to 0.8.6e. During the upgrade I visited there site and was amazed to see what all this little app is capable of. I never bothered to check out other features than playing video files.

They also have a short tutorial about burning movie DVD. Give it a try, am sure you would be amazed.
